I finally wrote the story of my journey building Giftsy using my twin AI.
I did not grow up in America. English is not my first language, and I have a strong Korean accent. For a long time, I felt insecure about public speaking. I was afraid people would focus on how I sound instead of what I mean.
I grew up with a very strict father, and that shaped the way I used my voice. I learned to be careful. I learned to think before I speak. Sometimes that made me quiet, but it also made me understand that words are powerful.
One thing I care about deeply is not using words without thinking. Words can create fear, but they can also create courage. Words can make someone feel small, but they can also help someone stand taller. I want to use my words with intention, with impact, and with enough honesty to empower myself and others.
Building Giftsy is part of that journey. It is not only a website or a business. It is me learning how to express what I believe: that sharing can be powerful, community can be built through small acts, and technology can help us become more human when we use it with heart.
